Different Kind of Rally

A record of 153,500,000 Americans are working, and the economy is picking up steam. However, there are still skeptics with respect to what it all means for the stock market. Should stocks rally against the backdrop of 2.0% to 2.5% growth even when they’re foretelling 3.0% growth in the next year or two? 

There is no doubt the valuation of many stocks is worrisome; and yet, these are often the names that continue to rally even when it seems sobriety or fear have seized the rest of the market. The short answer to these sorts of questions is: “It’s complicated.”
