I saw the @stocktalkweekly tweet last week and couldn’t wait to share it with Payne’s Perspective readers. Ironically, this was before Jay Powell & Co. decided to take a victory lap. If I was tasked with rendering the picture, I’m not sure if Powell would replace the bull and wear the crown or replace the bears carrying the palanquin.

The bottom line is the Fed is the market’s friend once again. It’s a bold gambit, but if Powell is correct, this is the story of his career, and that transitory snafu will only be a footnote.
